Stathclyde Space School

As a mentor for the Scottish Space School in 2024, I supported S5 pupils through a week of engineering challenges, workshops and group projects designed to inspire careers in STEM. I helped teams develop their ideas, encouraged problem-solving and teamwork, and shared my own experience of studying engineering at Strathclyde. The programme also provided the opportunity to hear from leading figures in space, including NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Michael Baker, giving students a unique insight into spaceflight and engineering careers.
